Well SPX futures came within a 1/2 point of making new high right after Europe came online tonite. Has pulled back a few points but a lot of volume at the upper ranges. Pretty big negative divergence on MACD though at it's peak.

Matt, knowing you trade the futures, you'll appreciate this. LOL, After reading the newsletter Sunday, I was up trading futures Sunday night, had decent trades going on in the ES and GC  and figured I'd take a look at PA futures. So about  12:30 in the morning found a R point at 2276 to short. Now I've been trading futures mainly for 10+ years but have never even looked at palladium.  Was doing ok, went down to get some coffee, came back up in 10 min and was way upside down. Look at the one min tick charts from about 3ish when Europe came online. There were some $700 1 min candles. Holy cow. Stayed up till 6am scalping my way back to small profit. I was not thinking good things about you for even mentioning it. I was like a moth drawn to a light when I saw that chart. My last short was at 2308.50 around 4:15. As soon as I got back to a semblance of profit, I covered. Haven't looked at it again till you posted this. Obviously I should have held, but I was worn out. You had a great call, but wow, the futures make trading gold, oil or ES like trading a utility stock in comparison. Figured you'd appreciate the story.

Matt, On your SPY system reversion play, did you specify a certain put for the option play? Sorry if I missed

Mar arabica coffee (KCH20) on Friday closed down -0.80 (-0.71%), and Mar ICE Robusta coffee (DFH0) closed up +5 (+0.38%).

Coffee prices extended month long decline on Friday with arabica coffee falling to a 1-3/4 month low. The outlook for a rebound in Brazil coffee output is fueling fund selling of coffee futures after Conab, Brazil government's forecasting agency, said Thursday that it sees Brazil 2020/21 coffee production rising to 57.2-62.0 mln bags, up as much as +25.8% from 49.3 mln bags in 2019/20 as the crop moves into the higher yielding half of its two-year cycle.

Gold futures up to recent new highs tonite at 1590ish, currently 1581 +29

We may have seen the high of the market for the year yesterday on the first day of trading in 2020. But who knows.

Futures have dropped 20 pts in an hour and oil futures up $2 on news that a couple of high ranking Iranians killed in drone attack. Gold nice spike too.

Richie, When you go to a Christmas party and everyone is talking about the money they've been making in the market or your grandmother calls you to ask what stock she should be trading, then that's euphoria. Most have not been trusting this rally for awhile and historically that has not been when markets top.

Does anyone besides me think that M may be attractive here. It's yielding almost 10% and RSI extremely oversold.
