Potential Inverse cup and handle on 10 year yields

There is a gap on GDX that extends down to 33.78.  I guess that might be a logical target over time.

Trouble is brewing in the GLD ETF

Gold gapping over Fib fan line as well.

Be wary of a fakeout - I've traded pms for 10 years and they are quite tricky.

Thanks Steve

Steve would you consider the recent move to 42.10 an E wave that completes the coil with the potential to break down?  I am considering a short on GDX.

Nice chart Ed

US dollar index maybe bottoming.

US dollar index maybe bottoming.  Could provide the pin to pop golds parabolic move.

One thing that is not considered in govt stats is the number of actual infections including asymptomatic ones.  This site gives some background to the NY situation.  They calculated death rate at 0.28% and under age 65 rate at 0.09%. That will be exciting when it happens.  I've been stalking this for years too.  Wondering if it needs some weeks of consolidation or backtesting.  Very tricky sector to trade imho.

Great newsletter Matt.  One thing

Great newsletter Matt.  One thing the rapid sell off highlights is the extreme levels of leverage in the system, even in precious metals.  Too much leverage is very bad and has consequences that catch even the best traders and systems.

Definition changes are typical of marxist philosophies.  If you don't like the results of something, just alter the data or results.  The question is, will the markets be fooled for some time?

Just to add one thing.

Just to add one thing.  My belief is the market is taking the corona virus problem far to lightly.  The numbers are much higher than published by the authorities and not sure how seriously Canadians, Americans, and Europeans authorities are taking this as it can spread asymptomatically.

I am holding a basket of silver and gold stocks and a small basket of energy stocks as a counterweight.  Given today's action, the gold bug in me is nervous.  A drop below 27.63 on GDX will likely cause me to close most of those trades out.

Possible Inv. H & S forming on Osisko Royalties OR.TO

Something is up with the number of stocks included in GDX under the point and figure system.  I've noticed that MUX appears and disappears randomly and that the total number of stocks on buy or sell signals varies from 25 to 26.  Sometimes a stock is removed and that affects the total number of stocks and makes the system appear to go on a buy or sell signal.  So be careful with interpretation of signals as weird things are going on under the surface with the number of stocks included in bullish percentage gold miners.

Very thorough analysis of Silver.
