Remember that renko charts lag - GDX may well shoot up tomorrow if the right catalyst is triggered.

VIX weekly chart bothers me

I am also looking for an entry.  There is a gap now between 27.50 and 27.65, will look for that to backfill before getting aggressive.  GDX is tough to trade.  NFP is coming before the market open Friday.

Well said.  This has been my concern for years with gov't debt.  Gold has no counterparty risk.

I am also having trouble with them.  Yesterday was also bad.  Not impressed.

Are we seeing a diamond top?  I am not good at spotting these things so this could be wrong.

Gold seasonality chart March is highlighted unfortunately

Sold my gold stocks this afternoon.  Gold has backtested an uptrend line and a downtrend line is coming up just above.  There is a shooting star candle on a 4 hour chart of XAUUSD.  Don't like the gap above and below on GDX.

Maybe I'm just a nervous nellie.  LOL

Heads up gold bugs.  BPGDM just gave a sell signal.  FNV was the culprit with a revenue miss.

I don't like the look of GLD here.  Perhaps a C wave down soon?

That doji is something I noticed too on the weekly chart.  I didn't notice how price might be pinned between the 50 and 200 week ma though.
