Why would the bad weather that has been hammering the east coast reflect poor jobs numbers?

All the indexes are lagging the small caps, including COMPQX and NYSE.  Today's volume in the NYSE is so far tracking less than Monday's which was less than Friday's (ops. exp.).

One other thing of note is EWZ,  which was pushing higher as the indexes did is sputtering.

What does all this mean.....

AAPL exploded with the rest of the market yesterday and the 13/34 ema crossed up through today over the 60/50.  14, 60, and 144 stochs are all over 95.  Yet volume is less than Wednesday and Thursday.  Not suggesting this may be a place to short, but could possibly be a place to scalp.

Thoughts??

I get the sneaky suspicion that nothing will happen today but the 60 and 144 stochs look like they are finding resistance at 80 and beginning to turn over.  The 13/34ema have not crossed yet.

I am seeing the 144 stoch. above 80 with the 60 stoch. above 70 on the hourly SP.  Although todays high is below the high of 2/24, is it safe to gander that taking out those highs would negate any bearish count?  fwiw, if the hourly SP were to push that high, we would get a 13/34ema cross.

60 (83) and 144 (87) stochs are back over 80 on the SP hourly.  I think for a change we get some good news to drop the market since bad news continues to lift it

I would suggest taking a look at the components of SRS.  Last time I looked the major holdings were reits, not homebuilders.

Before you consider to trade an etf, I suggest finding out what its underlying components are in order to track it accurately.

The hourly chart is very very close to a 13/34ema cross and price is now below the 60/50.

Volume in this continues to be non-existent

The swing system kicked long last week and doing nicely so far.  AIG also triggered and has been doing phenomenal today.

where's the volume????

Glad I bought some SPY puts at the daily 50 tag

XLF still has the daily 50 to contend with and financials have definitely not been that strong.  XLF tried to get over it at the end of Jan. and failed miserably.  Another push down and it could potentially cut through the 200 like butter.

Thx ditch, I am not in it seeing the stop near 19.80 with resistance at around 22.  R/R just does not look good to me personally.  Wanted to point it out.
