ZONE free pdf

struggling to learn to trade

occasionally when I search the net for a free pdf of a book, I can find them or a RAR (similar to PDF, but need an unlock tool and sometimes password to get to PDF) after some going through several links.  Choose free user, takes a few seconds and is slower, but don't have to use the premium pay service that way to download book.

May have skipped ahead one page too far....if that doesn't work, try this earlier page:

Have found and been able to download many trading books, even recent ones,  available for free on the net just by googling the "book title free pdf", just may need to go back 2-3 pages.

anyone catch this?

NASDAQ Distribution chart?

Distribution anyone?

Posted by sue2 on 15th of Aug 2010 at 09:20 pm

Thanks for these charts perthx, they are great and I've saved them so they can be refreshed and updated throughout the day.  I've been looking into starting a futures account, and one of the things they look at, in addition to different opening times around the globe, and other futures markets, is the:

JINT.Z- Issues for the NYSE (Advance Decline of all NYSE stocks) &

JIQT.Z- Issues for the NASDAQ (Advance Decline of all NASDAQ stocks)

Can you, Matt or Steve please post a similar chart and address also for non-stockchart members, showing the COMPQ (all Nasdaq stocks) with the up/down volume and advance/decline indicators like you did for the NYA (all NYSE stocks)  Thank you very much.

posted this yesterday as a trade idea, has rebounded well since the earnings miss, mostly in the last 3 days, notice volume increased quite a bit today from the last few days as price is rising.  Has gotten above the 20 and 50 MAs, and RSI is above 50 now, see if the 14 and 60 stochastics can clear 50 too.

Dojis, hammers, hanging man, etc.

GDX wicks

Over half way down, goes over all these, including gravestone and dragonfly dojis, which it may have been the last 2 days on GDX, or shooting stars and hammers or hanging man.  Any way you look at it, as saturn6 says, it signifies indecision after this uptrend and bullish run over the last 10 days.  GDX went from the high 46s to the high 50s and the 50 MA, could signal a reversal, may take another day or 2 to determine, at least until after the FED meeting to see if they devalue the dollar even more or keep it weak with wording to that effect, possibly helping gold, oil, and the markets.

Sorry Steve, used one of your trade ideas charts to start this one, hope that's ok.  After the earnings miss 2 weeks ago, has been rebounding nicely, especially last Friday and today.  Has gotten back into the gap, resistance above at the 20 and 50 MAs around 42, but 14 and 60 period stochastics are above 20 and pointing up, as is the RSI.  Would like to see volume increasing tomorrow if it continues to fill the gap, then RSI could push over 50, giving it a chance to fill gap at 44.
