the 2X  long and short ETFs function nicely depending on the direction of the break.

Commodities - Class Comparison

Did'nt expect this.   Across the various classes of commodity ETFs energy/oil (relatively speaking) are the weakest over the past few years.   Go figure?

CCI on $SPX

yes.      we've got record CCI spikes on both daily and 60 min charts - very rare indeed.Ive been sitting here backtesting this situation for the past few hours.High probability of a significant pull back upon trend line break or PSAR reversal or whatever signal you like to use to indicate a price direction change.

Advice on entering the current SPY trade

Posted by rreich on 8th of Jun 2011 at 12:19 pm

Matt/Tom/et. al.

I havent entered the current trade thus far due to family matters combined with other indicators pointing to more down side the last few days.

Well, Am now considering entering the trade (at this now lower price).   Given the system and it's logic, would you take a position at this time?

thanks in advance

Agree,, old format

New Video

Posted by rreich on 7th of Jun 2011 at 10:15 am

For the general newsletters the old format is better as we old traders can skip the educational components we've seen before and get to the trades et al.

For special topics,  the new format is wonderful as it provides specificity.
