Trying to short these guys is like being a forced stowaway on a
rocketship!
Besides, The market needs at least 5 waves up to complete this
take-off from the June 24th low. So far we maybe have 3 (or the 3rd
is still extending?). So we need a small 4th corrective and 5th
higher. And these strong leaders will rise with or lead the
market.
Posted by limitless on 2nd of Jul 2013 at 04:20 pm
Thanks Matt...But IF we got 5 waves up from the bottom, that is
wave 1 up.
Then wave 2 retracement is usually into the 0.500 to 0.618 fib
levels, and at times even deeper. THAT is the time in fact we
should get best entries, according to EW guidelines! Or am I
mistaken? Thanks

Thanks Matt. Intraday today Looks like we have 5 waves
down from todays high (although the 5th seems relatively longer
than the 1st. So maybe we get a better short entry on likely
bounce?
Posted by limitless on 25th of Jun 2013 at 02:36 pm
Thanks Robin. So, from your kind reply I have to presume that
your average daily return since you started has been $248 per
contract. Not bad. Pretty good in fact.
Posted by limitless on 15th of Jun 2013 at 05:23 am
Thanks Matt to point this out. Agree. I have been eyeing this
HNS. Volume is also confirming same! do you agree?
Also a possible EW count of 1-2,1-2 from the head bottom.
The first wave-1 fulfills an impulsive up 5 waves count. Wave-2
retracement for The first RS is very close to the 61.8%
fib.
The 2nd wave-1 is not so impulsive (although we could count 5
waves with a complex 4th wave triangle). Wave-2 retracement for the
second RS here is deeper near the 78.6% level, which is still
acceptable.
IF above observations are correct, price should take off from
here. Also to note is that AAPL usually gaps up on Mondays IF the
price has to take-off.
IF not, There is still a possibility that price could go a
little lower to near the 418.90 low to form a double bottom?

All The best for your surgery Matt. Hope it is fast and painless
and the recovery is rapid. Truly Apreciate all that you do for us
subscribers despite your condition. Take care and rest. The market
and us will still be here whenever you return.
Dear Matt and Steve. IMHO, following are probable strong reasons
for subscribers not able to play Your Best trade Ideas:
1) You have too many trade ideas which not only takes more time
to analyse but also causes dilution, just like the Mutual Funds and
many other newsletters which have too many ideas and holdings which
creates dilution of portfolio. Better that you FOCUS on only your
Best 1 or 2 sectors and the Top 2 equities within that sector of
the Day/week/month/year.
2) Too many ideas leads to too much choice and too much analysis
which leads to paralysis.
3) Except for a few Clever subscribers, most are not at all near
your class of knowledge and experience to make apropriate
choices.
For these Clever ones you might want to list some more ideas if
you like and if you have the time. But IMHO again Your Focusing
will be more productive use of your own time and produce better
results and really help The Majority of All your subscribers also
to Focus with Fewer and Better Ideas.
My Humble suggestions:
1) FOCUS FOCUS FOCUS.
2) Identify The Best Index / Country/ Sector expected to make
the biggest move of the day / week / month / year.
To help Identify:
i) Choose only the ones which are nearing the end of wave 2, and
are ready to explode in wave 3. Choose the ones with the biggest
wave 1 (as corresponding wave 3 will be even bigger). For
this purpose, Maintain a Watchlist of those which have completed
the longest wave 1 and are in wave 2 correction patterns (this
would DEFINITLY and without any doubt help me to take better
decisions to pull The Trigger when the time is right).
ii) Choose one in wave 1 ONLY IF you have a Very
Strong and clear set-up like an Ending Diagonal (same as your
Bullish or Bearish wedges) ready to reverse with a vengeance.
iii) For equities, be wary of wave 4 set-ups which
are many times very complex and corresponding wave 5 could be a
sharp but a smaller move, AND one which reverses rapidly leaving
many subscribers caught with "light in deer's eyes" !
iv) Wave 5 can also be used for Precious metals and
commodities, as they usually have a longer extended and
stronger..read parabolic and very profitable wave 5.
3) Identify The Best ETF /leveraged ETF and The Best 1 or 2
Equities of 2) above..using the same EW principles.
From the above you now know that I am an EW
fan....for obvious reasons.
IMHO again, only EW gives the most confidence in trading when
used correctly.
Use it only when you have identified the correct waves with some
degree of confidence.. IF the waves are not clear, AVOID it. Go
find one which has. And IF you cannot find any, no problem. Stay
out of The market. One does not have to be IN the market every day.
In fact, some of The Most successful Investors / Traders in The
World do so with much fewer trades on average.
Use all other Standard Technical analysis and indicators, to
confirm The waves and use as triggers for entry and exits / Stop
losses.
In ending, you guys are doing a great job and providing
tremendous guidance.
And I greatly apreciate the fact that you want to have The BEST
Technical analysis website/newsletter ever published.
I hope that the above suggestions will take you one step further
in your quest for perfection. It sure will help me and to consider
a lifetime subscription and hopefully most others as well.
Cheers.

FMCC and FNMA both seem to have made some kind of bottom after a negative low today.
-After making new low today, rallied on strong volume in what looks like an impulsive 5 waves up.
-also took out yesterdays lower high on the 5 mins.
-A good entry now could be on a retracement of todays move into the 0.500 to 0.618 fib levels !

Firstly, I am pretty new out here.
Thanks Matt for the excellent charts and the information which is extremely interesting and useful.
But, obviously I cannot play all the suggestions. I know that one has to choose the ones based on their own strategy and time factor etc..etc...
BUT at the same time I am really confused as to which are the few best ones I should use?..and mostly land up not using any.
So, there is just one more information which would help me immensely: Which would YOU personally pick as The TOP 3 ?
This would help me greatly to play your picks. I am not sure if it will further help the other subscribers as well, but me it surely will.
Thanks for all your excellent support.
