NYMO Short Term - Chart Link - 2nd
consecutive day below its lower BB's. I've marked on the
chart # days in black, 2 days below consecutively are quite
rare.
$NYMO - Chart Link - always gotta remember
to look at these every day, last Friday it closed below its lower
BB's for a buy signal which clearly played out. Haven't been
paying much attention to them because the market is up nearly ever
day, however in strong trends even a slight sideways move can cause
the NYMO to dip below the lower BB's, anyway point is always make
it a point to check on these. Clearly nothing for today, the
buy signal was Last Friday into Monday
$VIX - Chart Link - as Steve mentioned in
the newsletter, this went on a buy signal as of yesterday's close
via the close back inside its BB's, obviously played out well
today
$NYMO - Chart Link - the buy signal on the
NYMO from Wed obviously played ou twell
$NYMO - Chart Link - remember NYMO closed
below its lower BB's twice as of last night and NAMO closed below
for the first time. Generally you get a bounce when that
occurs like we are today
$NYMO - Chart Link - honestly I didn't
even think to check this on Thursday, Steve probably didn't either
since most of the time this occurs only after the market has had a
correct but it's been sideways. The NYMO had closed below its
lower BB, which is generally a good signal, played out well on
Friday
$INDU - Chart Link - The Dow was very
stretched but in very strong trends the 5 EMA is support, which was
tagged yesterday where it found support for now. Otherwise
that psychological number of 20,000 may be too damn close for the
Dow not to go up and tag it now.
$NYMO - Chart Link - I didn't note this in
the newsletters, but the NYMO and NAMO almost closed below their
lower Bollinger Bands yesterday, which is generally a good bounce
area
$NYMO - Chart Link - as you know for a
long time we've shown the NYMO and NAMO McClellan Oscillators with
Bollinger Bands, which produce good trade signals.
On the weekend I noticed that there's a lof these McClellan
Oscillators, even on individual sector ETF's. Here's a list
of them, the long and short signals occur when these close outside
their BB's
!MCOSIRXLB - Chart Link - XLB Materials -
for example this went on a sell signal on Thursday
$NYMO - Chart Link - Steve didn't show
these but they closed below their lower BB's, the last time it
produced a one day bounce (Monday) then we sold off hard today, so
we'll see if we bounce tomorrow or not
$NYMO - Chart Link - yes John,
however not as reliable for a sell signal, much better when it's
below the lower BB's and closes back inside, though I do think the
market is vulnerable here unless it starts pushing higher right
away, see Steve's charts tonight like the VIX, the 2hr SPX chart
etc
