Something I keep wondering about both the shoe bomber and the
underwear bombers. There has to be some level of sophistication in
order to acquire the material,have a Visa,get on the plane, etc.
but why did they both try to ignite the bombs in full view of all
the passengers? Why not just go to the bathroom? Just doesn't make
any sense to me.
Only way gov't can do business is with fear....this one has a
bomb, the financial system is going to collapse, you are not safe
traveling. In turn, the gov't has to do everything in their
power to save you from not only all of this but also yourself.
How much fear can we (govt') instill in the human psychy????
OT these guys are just dumb...I mean think about it, they keep
trying the same stuff and failing. And when they do succeed like
9/11, they don't get the results they want, instead they get
slaughtered and invaded. Some people can't wait to get to hell,
they want to rush themselves there.
Yeah, another episode of government conspiracy in action, this
time to start a way with Yemen or something. Government is full of
lawyers, who reverse facts and fundamentals in order to justify
their action. By reversing their stories and the chain of
causalities, one could see what really happened.

not sure, but i thought i heard it was that they tried to do it
where it'd hurt the most people, coming into populated area on
landing, therefore they should be required to be seated. Again, not
sure - - but i questioned the same thing when first heard of
attempt.

Oh, and back to the Panty bomber, I think the bathroom is for privacy to explode the bomb, the windows are the weak spots.
The first Jet airliner the British made (I think called the comet) had problems with cracks around the windows and lead to a couple crashes.
