I've found a way to allow non stockchart members to see an intra
day stockchart. Here's a 60 min chart of IYW. Click on
the URL and you will get a page that say, please visit
Stockcharts.com. However
keep that page up, then
click on the address URL and hit the enter button, and the
chart will come up! Strange, but it works.
IYT 60 min chart-click once, then
refresh the page and the intra day chart will show up
yes the trick is that you have to click on the address URL and
then hit the enter button to refresh the page. If you click
the refresh on the browser, it doesn't work,
so click on the URL address and hit the enter button and
the chart will appear

Sould we also be able to use this technique for the Dynamic Stock Chart links at the top of the blog. So far I have been unsuccessfull.
yes but not as they

yes but not as they are, the URL is different and so I would have to change all the URL's, which I don't have time to do at the moment
Title: Work-around for Stockcharts non-members Based
Posted by twins on 28th of Sep 2009 at 11:22 am
Based on the previous discussion, I did a little experimenting and found this work-around for non-members of Stockcharts to view the dynamic links:
1. Click on the link to open the page. If it displays a chart, skip to step 4; otherwise if it says "Visit Stockcharts" continue.
2. Click on the URL (address) and hit the Enter key.
3. In Firefox, I then have to click on the Reload button (the circular arrow symbol).
4. Then replace everything up to and including the question mark in the URL with http://stockcharts.com/c-sc/sc?
5. Hit the Enter key.
5. Click on the Reload button to update the chart.
Hope this helps.

yep, that's how it works

yep, that's how it works Bob, thanks for the clearer write up than mine was.
Basically I have to post Image URL's instead of the regular URL to work, for example:
30 min SPX chart normal URL
http://stockcharts.com/h-sc/ui?s=$SPX&p=30&yr=0&mn=0&dy=25&id=p49449422288&a=150031283&listNum=61
and here's the image URL to the same 30 min SPX chart, this is what has to be used, notice how the URL address is different from the one above
http://stockcharts.com/c-sc/sc?s=$SPX&p=30&yr=0&mn=0&dy=25&i=p49449422288&a=150031283&r=6217
