Had the same problem with IB on SRS. To correct- right click on
the SRS chart. It will open a window and you have an option to edit
chart. select it and then click on the bad tick and it should
be removed. I would think that you then need to reload your NT
data. I do not have NT running on my system today. Hope this
helps.
Hi Duesy, that was useful info. thanks. I edited the IB chart
bar data and corrected the high. However NT will still load the bad
info. unfortunately, even with reloading the historical data.
The
good news is that it looks like the IB powered Ninja MAs are still
calculating the correct values -- probably because they are based
off the closing bar values and are not influenced by the bad high
tick. I compared Ninja to Ameritrade which wasn't showing the bad
tick. Bad news is would have been better off turning off SRS
systems so far.
I also spoke to IB help about this. I was told that they are
"mistrades" from the exchange and the exchange will have to rectify
the data. IB does not manually correct this, they just send the
data that they receive onwards. However I was told that the
exchange should remove the trades. When, is the question. Would
also appreciate a heads up on the SRS swing data (second
system). Can someone PM me the MA values with time so that I can
check my data? Thanks.
I'm also having a problem with a bad tick on SRS up around 58
that makes the charts useless. As far as I can tell there's nothing
to do till IB fixes the data. I reported the SRS tick and he said
he would write up a report but couldn't tell me when it would be
fixed. Once IB fixes it you can "reload historical data" in Ninja
-- may have to reload strategies. In the meantime you can look at
an IB chart and delete the bad bar. Pain in the neck!
Ninja workaround -- scroll chart so that bad tick runs off the
left side. If anyone with good SRS data is willing to pm me with ma
price and time values for the original and second SRS Swing
systems (not the newest one) I would like to check what I'm seeing
thx

I got one on Ameritrade on SRS and reset it by just changing the time scale on the chart from 3 days to 2 days. Worth a try.
