SRS goes down the drain....its probably being painful for those that are holding it, like myself...I have again acknowlege my #$#@%#$%#$ error in trading.

    maybe I am wrong but

maybe I am wrong but I believe we are in a bull market for a number of years from now on. too bad for those who think this is not real

    a bull market...did you see

Posted by dylan398 on 5th of Aug 2009 at 09:29 pm

a bull market...did you see Cisco's earnings?? Down 46% Y/Y...but beats estimates?? Sounds like a bear market rally to me....with a manipulation kicker...

    that's the story of this

Posted by marketguy on 5th of Aug 2009 at 09:38 pm

that's the story of this "entire" earnings season....companies beating dumbed down estimates and then WHIFFING on the revenue side while the market just whistles through the graveyard (though I'll give the market some credit tonight as CSCO was trading at 22.80 after announcing but then Chambers said that "revenue" for next year would most likely drop 15-17%, on that it dropped to 21.40ish)...

when realization hits in the coming months, this will no doubt end in tears...

    yes could be a bull

yes could be a bull market, but who cares, we play the trend

    Chris - I'll be waiting

Chris - I'll be waiting at the bottom to buy your shares from you.....

    John, you amaze me. You

John, you amaze me. You got totally killed in FAZ and gave us all the impression you were ready to commit suicide. because of your losses Then you came back saying you had learned something, but here you are LONG SRS in an UPTRENDING market - what did you learn? Why have you held on AGAIN? I am beginning to think you either just want sympathy or you are not really trading and just a story teller on the blog.

Sorry, but this time, no sympathy from me. You should have stayed away from the market until you indeed had learned something including how to manage your positions and emotions. If you don't know how to trade yet - then paper trade until you learn - or trade the mechanicals - they are making money.

    I have no words, but

I have no words, but to acknowledge my failure. I want to thank all of you for something that will happen in the future, but for now its a Goodbye.

    I share your pain. Where

I share your pain. Where is the bottom to this stock?

    SRS vs. FAZ

Posted by duesy on 5th of Aug 2009 at 03:13 pm

If SRS continues to fall they may have to do a reverse split like they did for FAZ-FAS. I wonder where the bottom is on this stock. I suspect the 'powers that be' are forcing it down to inflict pain on all of those who purchased it earlier.

    SRS

My impression from Pisani (who used to cover real estate) and Fast Money's Finerman is that the REITs were able to raise a lot of money in offerings so there financial outlook is perhaps not at dire -- at least in this uptrend. SPG downgraded today on valuation -- but still up!
