QQQ  PSQ QID  NQ - m att , can you please explain the incongruity of KISS system exiting QQQ, entering PSQ and QID, and still long NQ, at yesterday close. I know you have explained different ATR lengths, and NQ trades nearly 24 hrs x 5 days. Is there an action you would take, this AM, as a result of PSQ QID entries (which have pretty wide stops)? Thanks much

again - the QQQ and SPX KISS daily charts shown in the newsletter use custom settings that make their peformance a bit higher than the ones in the standard default KISS tables - they do match each other.   They both actually closed out yessterday the custom QQQ and the website KISS, even though I can see why that's confusing from the chart, let me explain.

The QQQ from the table closed 1 penny below the STS - i.e. QQQ closed at 479.49, while the STS was 479.5, so closed 1 penny below the close - that's why it closed out. Now you can argue 1 penny? Sure, but it is what it is. Instances like that you can always choose to give a bit more wiggle room.  The website shows it closed out but doesn't the connected line yet - I think that line shows up the following day, so it should show up today when I run the update

This has been asked dozens of times and I've clarified it dozens of times.

the KISS tables contiain non backtested default setttings of the KISS systems.  The high performance will use non default settings and backtesting as well as smaller time frames for higher peformance

PSQ and QID should not be on the list, I wasn't aware they were there, those are inverse ETF's, I will be removing those.  I have some custom KISS settings that can work on inverse ETF's but I have not pushed that, the default KISS doesn't work well on inverse ETF's because it's long only and inverse ETF's do not trend long enough on daily time frames to be used without custom tigher settings - ignore those, I'll be removing those today

NQ is Nasdaq 100 futures, it doesn't have to match what QQQ is doing, the prices are different and therefore STS prices are going to be different

    thanks, matt. can you please

thanks, matt. can you please add the sector ETFs that may not be on KISS: XLX, XLC, XLF, XLV, XLP, XLI, XLB, XLE, XLU, XLRE, XLU and also OIH and VTI? Have a great weekend

I ran an intra day update on the KISS tables, and you can see the QQQ has the connecting line now as I said it would on an update.  It's worked that way for the last 1.5 years, but I'll see if James can have the connecting line show up that same day it closes out

I removed QID, PSQ as well

anyway because I ran up update intra day, therefore please ignore anything new that may show up - because it's intra day and things can and will change by close. For example BITO shows a new entry as of today but again it's not the close yet, it only shows up now because I ran an intra day update on the daily KISS tables to confirm the connecting trendline would show up on QQQ and to remove PSQ and QID
