SPX 2 hour - this actually looks like a likely candidate
for a wave 5 break through the cycle indicator. I'm also attaching
the MA ribbon isolated by itself. The count is pretty clear
when viewed this way (count the color changes)

Just checking. Wasn't positive. Your response does make me
wonder whether it's safe to count using just the the MA ribbon. It
seems to clear up the mess a lot of times...like using IR to see
through dust clouds in outer space. However, you wouldn't see
a triangle if just looking at a MA ribbon.
MA ribbon for wave count? eh I'd just use it for watching
for periods of pinching or when it's too wide. you can also
see 3 wave abc pullbacks sometimes as well when you see the 4 color
change - see the text on the chart

It seems like you're contradicting yourself. You approve of
using it to spot ABC's, but not the other types of EW patterns?
If you use it to spot ABC's, logic would suggest you can also
use it for broader EW analysis.
Also, I 100% got the idea of using it to count waves from
you. You have posted many times about a break of the cycle
indicator being the start of wave 3 (not always but it's typically
either wave 3 or 5 unless it's a reversal / trap, then it also
happens on wave 1)
the KISS system also uses it to identify ABC's. But that's
it, I don't use it for the other wave patterns like 5 waves and
other crap even though I'm sure you can see those patterns
sometimes. Again I just try to keep it simple
otherwise the most use case is the pinching of widening of the
BPT MA from the ribbon

I'm all in with simplicity. Lately trying to keep it to cycles
and MA ribbon plus the 21 EMA as a trigger (on all timeframes).
Even on the 10 sec, one of my favorite TF's, I've had a lot
of success using the ribbon and cycles to determine where I am in
the count and thentrade more or less aggressively depending on the
wave position (wave 3 is my favorite place to go big).
it's a useful set a tools - like anything the more you use it
and look at it calibrating your eye getting used to how it behaves,
you get better and better at using it as a tool

But I don't think it was the more powerful wave 3 break of the
resistance cycle. Those breaks often go crazy, but not so much when
it breaks higher on wave 5. Agree? Disagree?
If we push up directly from here and break through the top of
the channel, I think it will start to look like a decent medium
term topping area...but it needs to push through the top of the
channel and pull in some serious bullish FOMO action, IMO.
The top won't be a whimper - it's going to be violent
following a crash higher that sucks in max bulls.

EW Triangles only are found in wave 4 or wave B
Is that a sideways way

Is that a sideways way of saying that my wave 5 projection may be correct?
