BYND - like everything else, they're trying to pitch it as
healthy on CNBC. But any of my fellow nutrition label readers out
there know that this stuff is bad or worse for people than red
meat. Short interest makes sense (if funnymentals mattered to
this market...they don't)
"Beyond Meat said fourth-quarter revenues decreased 7.8%
year-over-year to $73.7 million, which beat consensus
estimates of $66.66 million. The plant-based meat company
reported a fourth-quarter loss of $2.40 per share, versus a loss of
$1.05 per share in the prior year’s quarter.
The company expects full-year 2024 revenues to be between
$315 million and $345 million.
