I added some additional text to the FAQ to answer more
questions, I suggest you all read it, it's 15 pages with a lot of
detail, I spent a lot of time this weekend writing that to
hopefully answer most questions. It is not yet on the KISS section,
waiting for James to add to the FAQ, however you can read it over
from here
I added a bit more info to the FAQ, one of lower STS stops that
occur once in a while, and some comments about future
ideas/improvements. The FAQ should go live today on the website,
and mayable some of those weekly charts. I would like to get
some beta high performance stuff working late this week as
well.
here's what I added
----------
Q: From the two examples you showed, it looks like
each new STS always moved up to a higher price from the previous
one, is that true?
A: In most cases this is what you will see, probably 90% or more
of the time. However, there are times when the new STS will be at a
lower price than the previous one. The reason for this is because
the system is using multiple average true range calculations, and
when the new STS stop drops lower than the previous one, the system
likely handed off one of the ATR functions to a wider one, hence
the stop gets wider - this is discussed below.
----------
Q: What are your plans for the KISS systems and
the backtested high performance versions?
A: The KISS system is not static, my goal would
be to add additional logic and filters over time to improve the
system even more. Basically, the system is never fully finished,
it’s always a work in progress that will evolve and grow. Off the
top of my head, things I’d like to add are additional Elliot Wave
logic, and also perhaps a scaleout or profit target component. I’d
also like to add logic to detect very overbought conditions that
may have the system either tighten up the STS stops, or reduce
position size.
With regards to the High Performance systems, I plan
to add more stocks and ETF’s over time, and I will keep an eye on
the performance and profit curves and I will re-backtest or adjust
settings when necessary.
I added additional text today, maybe about a page worth, so it's
worth reading over again if you read it early this morning, and of
course if you haven't read it yet, you should read it over. It's 15
detailed pages covering about all the situations I could think
of
Thank you for the long and detailed FAQ's Matt. I have
another question that may be helpful for others if you add it to
the document, assuming you can legally offer an opinion here...
Since you know and understand these systems more intimately than
anyone else, how would you allocate funds across the systems?
You've done an amazing job at designing so many systems I'll be
honest I'm having a hard time figuring out how to allocate across
everything. For example, I had initial thoughts on how to
allocate 100K.
- allocate 30K to SPY systems using SSO to increase leverage
to compensate for the low allocation, the low time in the market,
and the high win rate.
- allocate 30K spread across 10 different stocks with 5k
allocated to each ticker (trading up to 40K of the 30K allocation
because I am expecting not all of them to be in trades all the
time) of the daily KISS systems
- allocate 40K across 5? stocks each with 4 systems so
40K / (5*4) = 2K per system of the STS High Performance Systems.
I think allocation also helps with the lower overall win rate
of these systems because of the reduced allocation its easier to
let them play rather than interfering or becoming emotional.
Anyhow, just some thoughts I would share. Thank you again for
your hard work on these!

That’s a good question I thought about this over the weekend to.
I know im planning on having some different buckets of money or
different accounts.
My question is does the high performance kiss upro, sso,
QLD, tqqq on faster time frames like 130 min, half day, outperform
the daily high performance kiss ?
account 1: 25% 10-15 stocks daily kiss
Account 2: 25%SSO & upro high performance daily kiss
Account 3: 25% QLD & TQQQ high performance daily
Account 4: 25%. Whatever Matt is whipping up with the high
performance systems on these faster time frames.
