Curious if anyone here knows where the government funding issue
stands with Congress. Thought that was coming due this
month. Probably just another kick the can down the road, but
was just wondering if anyone has the facts on this.

They're working on a CR to fund through 2 dates in March. Lots
of misinformation out there so hard to exactly pin it down.
A couple of congress members on the Sunday talk circuit even
accused the Wall St Journal of lying and trying to frame anyone who
wanted to reign in spending as "ultra extremists" when asked about
the WSJ's report that a deal had already been reached.
*Snippet below is loosely related. The deal is massive, as
usual, and should work to inflate asset prices.
