one hit the STS, the tighter one, the other did not

which one has the better long term stats, actually the one with the wider one.

but again what you follow depends on your style. And other option I mentioned was you could use both, 50% to one and 50% to the other

    Yesterday I posted both versions

Yesterday I posted both versions of the SPX KISS systems, the tighter one stopped out yesterday, while the wider one did not.  see my post

    https://breakpointtrades.com/blog/post/418048/

Also the KISS tables still have this tighter version and was updated or emailed for the STS tables yesterday

I looked at last night's newsletter and the version that Steve showed was a day old from Wednesday and didn't show the close out.  It was one from the previous day

But again I posted it here just a few minutes after the market so most should have seen that well before the newsletter was posted.  And again, whichever one you use is your choice or some combination.

anyway just clarifying if anyone was confused by that

    Do you have the performance

Do you have the performance stats of both systems to compare?  Why not use the version you stated had the better numbers?

    As I stated - many

As I stated - many ways to skin the cat, trading and depending on personalities some may have wanted a tigher stop, some may have wanted the wider or a combination of, and some like  you only want to follow the versions with the best long term history (which doesn't guarantee that it manages the current trade better than the over version because the stats are an average of the total history)
