Yeah, I get it. Still negative for the indexes. But if you are
targeting stronger sectors and avoiding the weak ones (STS is out
of energy and gold), then you are outperforming. For myself, I keep
some index exposure, but also follow the STS.
yes divergences and all that stuff is just a yellow flashing
sign as a warning, it doesn't mean that the trend ends and that
alone is never a sell signal. I've been riding long
nicely.
another analogy: Your driving your car and on the radio you
hear that there there is a chance for a heavy downpour storm - do
you pull over and stop driving or do you reduce your speed? No, why
would you slow down if that weather hasn't come yet, you keep that
in mind by you continue on our course and if that strom comes and
you need to ajust your driving you do, if it doesn't come you
didn't change your driving or course
the same thing for divergences: you note them, you are aware of
them, maybe you look for a tighter stop, but you stay on your
course because divergences can pass not not cause a pullback.

What inflation? Every guest I've listened to on CNBC and
Bloomberg this morning has said something to the effect of "as long
as inflation keeps going down like this, we're on a good path for
2%." Meanwhile, someone must have swapped my vitamins for crazy
pills recently, because I keep seeing hot job numbers and a flat to
rising CPI that seems to have come to rest nowhere near the
target.
like inflation calculation ... you
Breadth very weak this a.m. Way below even .

Its 95% lies and gaslighting. In my real world of solar, solar electric, solar hot water (copper), prices are up AT LEAST 40%, some things are up 100%

They're gonna sells stocks to the public whether the data supports it or not - that's the business. Spin to win (narrative spin, not wheel spin).
