I'm not yet finished here, I have two conditions still off, the
numbers should still improve quite a bit. But even as know this is
a lot better than buy/hold. I chose IAU over GLD
Stats so far- again these will improve further and I'll post
updated version later today
- Since 2005 KISS makes roughly 2X the total gains - again this
will go up maybe to 3X when I add the other two conditions
in.
- Avg annual gain 18.2% vs 9% buy/hold
- Avg max draw down only -2.7% vs -16.7% or 6.2X less
draw down vs buy/hold.
- Max DD of only -4.2% for KISS, and -31.6% for buy and hold
or 7.5 fold less max draw down
- Avg # Trades/Year 13
- Time analysis: average time in trades 18 days: 28 days for
winners, 9 days for losers
