Strong Dollar bad for multi nationals - While the Fed is
pretending to confront inflation, a strong dollar can't be good for
DOW stocks that rely on a strong export market

Yep, strong dollar not good for the guys in the tall hats and
coattails. It's pretty great for normal Americans though (up to a
point). If we had a weak dollar and oil at this level, there would
be much gnashing of teeth about inflation on all fronts. We've been
insulated from inflation, relative to most other countries, because
of the strong currency. I'm not feeling bad for McDonald's and
their diminished profits yet.
