Yes I use GOOG photos. I think they finally got the kinks
out about 2 years ago and I do find it utterly useful. I've
heard AAPL photos is on par but have not experienced.
I also have AMZN photos and they are trying to catch up to
both. But given that GOOG has been in AI for so long, they
are still way behind the competitors for generative AI, at least
with everything I've looked at to date.

I would have to agree they're trailing with LLM's, they're
probably the most vertically integrated across their product
offerings though. Microsoft has been making big inroads on that in
the last few months, catching up over a lot of ground very quickly.
Google had a leaked memo last week though suggesting they
expect to ultimately lose to open source LLM's, and from what I see
in that space that might not be a paranoid bet.

Bard is useless in comparison to ChapGPT. One of these days folks will figure it out and GOOG will tank.
GOOG has been in AI

GOOG has been in AI since ever since. I have been searching my photos with plain language for years now. Ever try it? It's uncanny.
They basically scoff at other cell phone makers and their silly lense arrangements. They just use AI instead.
Yes I use GOOG photos.

Haha. The freeware versions use data sets that are cut off years ago (at least I know for a fact that is true with GPT-3)
