    Anyone notice that the financial media seems to be muzzled when it comes to talking about fiscal policy? If you just listened to CNBC, you would think that monetary policy / FED policy is the only lever available to control inflation. There is no mention / very little mention of fiscal policy. Someone made a backhanded comment about fiscal spending yesterday and she looked like she got caught with her hand in the cookie jar...she probably was hearing it from her producer in her ear. 
    Democracy dies in the darkness and markets aren't likely far behind if/when that happens. Avoiding the truth doesn't help anyone.  Sad state of affairs these days with only approved narratives allowed in American media.

    This is why CNBS is a waste of time if you haven't figured that out yet.

    It's not a complete waste of time, but it's definitely important to know that they have a political bias and it is reflected in how they approach various story lines (e.g. the causes and solutions for inflation).
