Hi, I'm pretty new here

Hi, I'm pretty new here so bare with me. Just looking at the KISS system spx daily chart. When the purple line comes in is that the single to exit longs or is it when the STS is hit. Do you use the daily close for the stop or intraday ? also what does it mean when for eg the STS colour changes to purple (you can see it in the image I've posted of the latest chart). Is it an updated STS but a warning that the trend has changed ?

    Thanks

    Purple is just a new

Purple is just a new STS, the exit or stop price is the price listed there, in this case 3993.

We track the daily close, but you could use intraday, neither is a perfect choice, if you use intraday and the system stays long you will have to look for somewhere to reenter, if you use the close price you may get caught in a strong downward move and have more losses than you would using just the intraday.

The purple and blue lines are an ATR trailing stop, when you have a purple line above the price that means the ATR is bearish, when you have a blue line below the price that means the ATR is bullish.

    James, how about the color

James, how about the color change of the STS levels printed?  Obviously, green is the entry STS, and as I recall I think blue was used to signify that there wasn't a high confidence factor in the first two STS levels (or something like that).  However, not sure if the 3rd STS is always purple or if it has some meaning (before they start being white).  I am not referring to the ATR lines; rather, the STS numbers.

    First STS is always Green,

First STS is always Green, Second is Blue, first bar of any STS is purple to highlight that it is new for that bar.

Has nothing to do with confidence, although Matt does like waiting for a second signal or a retracement to the 9 EMA in some cases.

    ah ok thanks James :)
