reversion to mean: - bear long SPY will continue to hold
- Strap long for SPY and ES will close out
- 60 Stoch short is not closing - I may close out with a stop
or just add a stop - we already locked in strong gains on this
previously
because the system has not met any of it's exit conditions and
could get trapped holding if market went to another high. you
could set a stop at entry, which means you still make money
because 1/2 was taken off on the first decline - whatever floats
your boat. We still have the bear long on, which having one long
and short at same time is kind of like a hedge
again - the systems are exclusive to what the newsletters say -
and I'm sure Steve didn't say that he expected a decline, he
offered a couple options

any specific reason why you want to close the shorts - the newsletter mentioned a possible upcoming decline ????
