I've been short this puppy from the low $10.00's for a few weeks
and just closed my position at $7.65. I placed a few more short
orders this morning hoping I'd get a bounce and get filled but no
luck. Nine just tanked straight down. If I may say one thing about
BBT is that in the last 10 years since I've been a member the most
important thing I've learned is to follow the charts. It's
definitely saved my A$$ a few times. Thank you Matt and Steve for
all the knowledge and time you put into this site.
sounds like you took some heat on your short a bit before it
finally worked. fortunately I avoided that by shorting last
Thursday and added on Friday. Last week in Wed newsletter I
commented that I was looking for one more slight pop, which we got
on Thursday, that last high I figured was it.
on these parabolic moves you gotta be careful being too early on
a short. The doj candles early last week were a warning that
it was getting close, and that final day pop on Thursday put in
some CCI divergence. There was no doji there but a 60 min and 2hr
chart had nice MACD div, which is my requirement for a trigger
here's the 2hr view, you had a textbook MACD KISS/Stoch OB
setup
for daily short setups I want to see a MACD div on a 60 min or
2hr time frame, and of course if I get one of those Stoch MACD
setups on top, that's golden
