anyway guys - this is a good example of why I started
sharing trade signals for ES instead of just SPY - even though I'm
using the same collection of 20 plus sub systems on both
instruments, and even though these instruments are 99% correlated -
you will get different trades. This time the Bear Long that we had
active for SPY did not trigger, but it triggered on ES, which is a
good trade. This year the sub systems have caught trades on the SPY
that did not trigger on the ES and vice versa the systems have
caught trades on SPY that did not trigger for the ES instrument.
You get this back and forth averaging effect by doing
both
MES and ES have tax benefits via the 60:40 rule - but if you
don't to do futures, you can always just trade the ETF in place -
ETFs are active in after hrs until 8 pm, so while the ES systems
don't confirm until 5 pm EST, 1hr after the cash market close,
ETF's trade until 8 pm - again you do what fits you, your risk
profile and goals, I just share the signals

Yep, I took that trade next morning with SPY system. I find if it is lower in the AM what do you have to lose? Thanks for sharing these ES signals.
