According to IBD, the ZIM dividend is paid to holders as of Wednesday. So shouldn't Thursday be the big drop day?
today 22nd is the ex dividend date, generally a drop is reflected on that date not when it's paid, it's paid on April 4th
ZIM had to be purchased BEFORE today in order to be eligible to receive the dividend - it's too late to buy for the dividend now
Hi all, how did everyone trade ZIM over the last few days. I checked out this weeks 88 puts and the IV was sky high. Did you sell some stock before the drop? Or just hold for the dividend?

ZIM - Didn't end up reducing much and glad I didn't... that 6pt bounce yesterday was beautiful. Now we're $10 off the high with $17 cash on the way.
