QQQ - Chart Link- Also as a little education - what I find mostly happens when you have a downtrend line like this - price will not simply move over the trendline intra day - it generally gaps above it. 

It's one of these things where, if you think there is a good chance at an upside break over a downtrend line or channel line - go long inside the channel because I'd say the majority of time if you wait for price to confirm, it does so on a big gap - generally better to take a shot long while price is still inside the pattern
