yes - many combination of things can cause the Ribbons to
contract - a large correction in price, or a smaller correction in
price but occurring over a longer period of time, or a combination
of the two

that monthly MA ribbon and BPT MA still give me long term concern

I agree, a long year of flat to slightly down. Also a quick 20% woosh would start bringing it down more quickly. Either is concerning, IMHO
