$NDXADP - was flashing a pretty big divergence last
night. Usually when it gets this low, price also is making a low.
Yesterday, price made a new high.
remember my comments that I've posted many times: because the
market is uptrending, if you happen to come into days like today
nicely short, if you shorted yesterday for a trade, consider taking
a lot of profits in the morning or pre market when it's nicely
down. I shorted yesterday afternoon, then I shorted some ES futures
last night - I covered a lot of those pre market and on the
open - for me until the market breaks some key supports and forms a
lower high, these quick pullbacks tend to get bought so I just lock
in gains even if it's only for a day. Doesn't mean I won't
try to put them back on after this morning bounce, but for me I am
aggressive at those those initial profits
Always good advice to take profits. I kept my puts in place for
now, and have used this mornings buying to sell some calls, so
quite short at least for awhile.
price did bounce off the lows to retest resistance established
yesterday from that range break - trading is never just easy. Yes
just staying put short this morning was the easiest/best - or one
could have taken off on the open like I did and re-established some
shorts on the bounce back to resistance - again really just trade
your time frame guys or whatever you are doing.
anyway SPX now slightly below the 4500 that that I mentioned was
important

Yeah I've got my arse

Yeah I've got my arse singed by NOT taking profits, so I'm probably a little too cautious now. But playing a few options gives flexibility.
Yep, sold my IWM puts

Yep, sold my IWM puts too soon this morning. Should have trusted my charts. Still holding EMR short.

Looks a retest of this

Looks a retest of this mornings low, seems important to me. Thoughts?
I've been singed often Lol.

I've been singed often Lol. Selling those calls is likely a day trade, maybe a 2 day trade. I want to hold my SPY puts for awhile longer.
Good advice. Thanks!
