Its actually not as bad as the clickbait headline makes it.
It really puts things back to where they should be (you are
taxed on your total income regardless of where/how you earned it).
They previously had limitations on losses that would offset
gains and more recently they removed the ability to offset those
losses against previous gains. It was pretty crappy how it
played out. Im not a cpa, but that was my experience with
taxes among different business entities I own.
