first off on the 120 min system - as I've told you before the
entry rules are still open to interpretation. Once you get a
trending move the stops are easy with the DVT's.
that said - here's a 120 min chart with my indicators. Price
rallied right up to the ATR and stopped there. The MA ribbons
have not flipped and are pinching here. The BPT BR Squeeze is
approaching zero which an important area because that's where the
trend either changes from downtrend or uptrend or it stays negative
and you form a lower high in the downtrend.
The 60 Stochastic is far from crossing above 50%, the MACD is
far from crossing over zero which are my uptrending
indicators.
Now the fast and slow BPT MA's are green so if you had to be
long, well your DVT stop would be the low there.
Okay thanks Matt; I can mimmick these charts on TOS but don't
have the real time BPT MA's which are proprietary. Therefore,
I can't see the BPT MA in real time to make a decision using
them.
I know others have shown interest so opening up a thread on this
when we are close is a good thing. Thanks!
guys regarding those indicators here's something I've mentioned
before some of you guys can let me know via private message not
reply here.
I've finally got approved to place these indicators at
Tradestation. This is important because they would be available on
Tradestation.com- available to
import directly from the Tradestation program itself instead of me
having to manually send files through email, etc that get out of
date and are a nightmare to keep up on. The idea would be for
me to have all these indicators there where you could easily
install them and have the workspaces.
HOWEVER here's the caveat. First off I have to pay Tradestation
$100 a month for this option. Secondly, at first they ONLY allow us
to place two of our indicators or systems on their public platform.
Thirdly, this 2 indicator restriction only goes away after we have
10 folks with Tradestation accounts paying for those indicators.
Basically we have to charge some monthly fee for those
indicators and get at least 10 people subscribing to them before TS
will allow us to put up as many of these indicators as we want.
That's annoying because some of these I don't want to charge
for, and some of you already have versions of these. However it is
what it is, I have to charge something in order to get all these
indicators available, some nominal monthly fee, which TS gets a cut
from as well. Also after the restriction I can have some free
indicators as well, but as I said above I have to charge and get
enough people paying for them before they remove the
restriction. Again I don't think it would be hard to get 10
of you guys to pay something but that's what it is. In the
end it would be good because then we could all share the same
charts - of course if you didn't have a Tradestation account you
would have to open one, which I know most of you don't have
one.
anyway I'll discuss this more another time, intra day here is
not the time really but that's the info in a nutshell - again if
you have comments, you can send to me via a private message on the
blog, don't reply to this post during the day as we are keeping
that open for market commentary
so here's am updated 15 min SPX with the indicators - you can
see how cool these are as I said the 15 min would have triggered
long yesterday the trend system
now you have a second DVT higher low stop at 77.5. Anyway
that's 15 min
Seems like you could just pick your time period and trade off
it! I have my chart set up all on TOS so it would be a major
headache to go to Tradestation. No chance to buy for TOS

On all time frames price went over the ATR,
You really have to drill down to a 30 and 15 min time frames
where the indicators would have all confirmed buy signals :
Here's a chart showing 30 and 15 min: You can see price went
over the ATR yesterday as did the Ribbons, the MACD and 60
Stochastic.
On these time frames the BPT MA went green on Tuesday morning
and the fast version went red to green therefore you would have a
higher low stop at 75 on the 30 min and I'd say 74 on the 15 min.
again I don't have the resources to send out trend trades on 30
and 15 min charts guys
