Hopefully we'll get a washout today, volume was pretty heavy on GDX yesterday, maybe a doji on high volume today. Just don't try to catch a falling knife...

    on GDX yes I would

on GDX yes I would love to see a doji etc.

Another thing that would be positive would be a red to green move where it's weak in the morning and closes up.  A lot of bottoms tend to form that way; start off weak in the morning then reverse, NOT by starting off strong.  Whenever I'm looking for a tradeable low in something, I want to see it start off weak in the morning not strong.

    It's still early, but GDX

It's still early, but GDX has that doji look to it.  Let's see how it closes.

come on now guys let's not pick on him!

But this brings up a point, something I've learned over the years. Never ever get over confident about trading, thinking you master it and figured it out etc.  A lot of traders get superstitious but I can see why, because many times when I've been over confident, look out, the trading gods come back and spank my ass LOL.  Never get complacent. Being serious for a min, that's what happens, when you get over confident you tend to get complacent and lose disciple and that's what comes back to bit you
