nice that you bought it on the way down vs top ticking it or something.  Yes things like happens from time to time, a stock triggers on the open and the first 5 min bar is the high.  The first 5 - 15 min can be tricky and odds of that happening is much higher.  If you have the ability best to monitor really closely and be ready to exit right away if starts to weaken vs getting stronger after the gap
