As you know the AAPl system is
already long. The sub system that went long was the Trend long,
which has not yet taken a second entry. However on Friday I noticed
that the Exhaustion Bull 2 sub system went long a 1st position.
Remember on the combined system it's first come first serve,
whatever sub system triggers first is what governs the combined
system, that was the Trend long. The combined system won't take a
second entry unless the trend sub system does so. However the
individual sub systems can do whatever they want as they are their
own systems, hence why the Bull Exhaust 2 system took an entry on
Friday. You can have times when 2 or 3 or even 4 sub systems are in
an overlap trade at the same time. For simplicity we don't report
all that.
However I bring up the fact that
the Bull Exhaust system took a 1st trade on Friday because that sub
system has a max historical draw down of only -1.53%. Therefore
maybe that's a sign that the main AAPL system will soon bounce.
Anyway just relating this information.
Matt, thx for the updates on the AAPL. Related to your
comments on 'first come first serve' with regards to the buy
trigger, it would seem that if another system (in this case, the
Exhaustion Bull 2 sub system) also triggers long, that the 2nd
trigger would almost 'confirm' the first trigger. Have you
found in your experience, that if a large number of sub-systems
trigger the same way that the initial 'first come, first serve'
trigger is stronger? or the correlation isn't that strong?
thx
Thanks for posting these comments, Matt. I'm trading both
the SPY system and this AAPL system on your signals. And if
you start giving signals for GOOG or FB I'll take those as well.
Great work!

The Exhaustion Bull 2 system that went long on Friday closed out today for a nice one day trade.
the main system however is staying long via the Trend Trade
non system wise, AAPL still has a lot of resistance overhead at the 50 MA
Matt. Thanks for the update.
