$SPX - Chart Link - please read my
detailed discussion regarding the current moving average
configuration on the chart not just here. Otherwise in
summary, the MA's currently more configured like they were in 2014,
where a strong but quick pullback occurred but price recovered
quickly. However they are not configured like they were in
2015 where they had flattened out thus allowing for a stronger and
longer market correction. Again the way they are configured
now doesn't mean you can't have a quick hard pullback, especially
if the 9 week EMA is lost on a closing basis (a pullback to the 20
week MA usually is then in the cards), however price generally
recovers pretty quickly. The correction will be a buying
opportunity.
I'm net short the markets but I took the SPY system trade
without a thought. That's the whole idea of it. And I'm
glad I'm in the trade. Its a nice little hedge while the
market is dropping and could end up to be a fine trade on a
bounce.
come on man, completely different things, the SPY system have to
do with our tech analysis. Plus at this moment SPY system is
looking to exit on a bounce anyway. The system will have
losing trades, about 1 out of 10 on average. And this trade
is not over yet, it will either be a losing trade or a winning
trade.
But that said our technical analysis and the SPY system have
nothing to do with one another and you cannot compare the two

Isn't it a little confusing for subscribers when Steve is seeing bearish configurations, but the SPY system is long?
