Is there a scan using stockcharts

Is there a scan using stockcharts for this setup?

    symmetry? would be pretty difficult

symmetry? would be pretty difficult to write a scan for that, that's where the art comes in by visually looking at the chart.

I have scans for other things in Stockcharts though like my Stochastic MOMO and Reversion to mean trades

    Not symmetry but the Stochastic

Not symmetry but the Stochastic Momentum or MOMO. Replied to wrong post.  Cool

I like them both for different reasons

Great educational session, well worth watching twice.

Personally I like the video first because it walks you by the hand, particularly if this is your first encounter with the "symmetry" concept. But, I would like you to check what you say around the 1039.70 "higher low" (from 7:56 to 8:12 you say "lower high" instead of "higher low") and maybe re-record that small segment if it is possible. In any case, the video is AWESOME.

Then, once I have watched the video, I like the newsletter approach because it is faster (New Player) if you want to review a particular section, and it is wonderful that you give us links to the live charts so you can see it in all detail.

My request is to have a "Download" link, so I can take the educational material with me when I am traveling, so I can review it without being connected to the Internet. I understand that having a "Download" link could cause these videos to "leak" all over the Internet, so, maybe it is not a great idea after all.

In any case, this educational video by itself is worth the price of the entire subscription, and this concept has already made me quite some money. Thank you!

    Nicely done, Matt!

Great Educational material. Regarding the daily newsletter, since every day we have to review it, I prefer the charts with the audio format because is quicker than the video. However, for educational purposes the video is better since you explain it better and more detail than we doing it on our own. The video al so needs a tab to review the charts on our own.

    Great work Matt……thanks

    Great education, Matt!  Very valuable

Great education, Matt!  Very valuable information.  Between the two formats I thought the video was easier to follow especially when there is a lot of information present on the chart (e.g. your GDX example).  By following your cursor my eye didn't have to search around the chart filled with many info boxes to find exactly where on the chart you were explaining and I was more easily able to keep up with your explanations.

    I added a 26 min

I added a 26 min audio overlay and I also made a 23 min long video!

guys do me a favor and watch both, the video and the newsletter general audio overview, let me know which one you like best.

Great video Matt, thanks for all of your hard work!

Thanks, Matt. Both are good, but if you're choosing between the two, I would prefer the newsletter format.

    I like the video better

Posted by cghursh on 21st of Jan 2017 at 10:11 pm

I like the video better than the newsletter style with audio overlay because you can point to certain parts of the charts with your cursor and it is easier to follow in my opinion.  Thx-  Really like.

    thx, and of course video

Posted by matt on 22nd of Jan 2017 at 12:19 am

thx, and of course video has it's place in educational things like this.  Now some of you may wonder why we don't use video for the nightly newsletters? That's because it would add a lot of extra time, energy, complication on our side.  Right now the way the newsletters work where we record the audio for each chart, we have it so customized on our back end, that's why Steve and I can knock out these crazy detailed newsletters with a lot of charts fairly quickly.  Video however takes at least 6 times longer, and the size of the videos, a 20 min video might be 200 MB for example, then we have to wait perhaps 25 min for it to render, then load it etc etc.  So that's why we don't simply make videos every day, it's a pain in the butt to do.

    I agree.  I don't think

I agree.  I don't think a video overlay for the nightly newsletters is necessary.  The newsletters are easy enough to follow with just audio.

    again the educational section is

Posted by matt on 22nd of Jan 2017 at 12:23 am

again the educational section is going to take a while to fill out, it's something I'll try to work on a little each week.

    Thanks Matt -- both formats

Thanks Matt -- both formats are great -- I like the newsletter because we can pull out live charts to review.  Thank you for doing all this.

    thx for the feedback guys!

Posted by matt on 23rd of Jan 2017 at 10:17 am

thx for the feedback guys!  One thing I should do on that Symmetry Newsletter - at the end give you a few of the charts with NO annotations on them and your job is to look at the blank slate chart and note the symmetry moves and breaks yourself

anyway I'm hoping to do at least new educational newsletter each week to eventually fill out a new section

    BTW, my subscription renewal comes

Posted by carrieg on 22nd of Jan 2017 at 06:41 am

BTW, my subscription renewal comes due in 9 days and with all the educational and trading systems improvements that have been put in place or are in progress on BPT (not just recently but over the years) my renewal is a no-brainer!
