Book - The Disciplined Trader

Someone sent this Book to me via email as a PDF, they said it's really good, it doesn't tech charts and T.A., but focuses on trading discipline, managing risk, etc.  I haven't ready it personally so I can't comment, but figured I'd post it here as you can download the PDF and read at your leisure

regarding discipline - that's why even just average or slightly sub par systems will generally beat most average traders and folks because systems have set rules and disciple, a set strategy vs most of the masses who trade willy nilly by seat of their paints

I've read numerous times both Trading in the Zone and the Discipline trader by Mark Douglas ....  great books!  RIP mark !!!

    I didn't know Mark Douglas

I didn't know Mark Douglas had passed. Really sorry to hear that. RIP. I think Trading in the Zone is one of the best books on trading that I've ever read. The Disciplined Trader is also excellent. My recollection is that he wrote Trading in the Zone after The Disciplined Trader and he incorporated much of it in his later book. They're both great, but I'd probably say if you're going to read one then read Trading in the Zone. Mark Douglas deals with the psychological aspects of trading better than anyone else I've ever read. Invaluable stuff.

    Agreed
