Posted by coutts99 on 3rd of Jun 2014 at 09:40 am

I was able to download and import into Ninja the old BPTMA indicator and it worked well. However it expired on june 1st. I downloaded the new version for Ninja but I cant get it to work. I even had tech support from Ninja log on to my computer and make sure it was properly installed. We still couldnt get the indicator to load onto my charts. Anybody have the same issue? any advice

    Hi,

How is the BPTMA deluxe working out for you ?  Can I ask how you use it ?

I was wondering if it would work well with over ETF's ?

    Thanks

    Don

I just started to use this for NinjaTrader & have the same problem listed before - it doesn't show up on any charts. Has it been renewed?

coutts99- yes they have expired, unfortunately

coutts99- yes they have expired, unfortunately my programmer was supposed to place a new version in those sections 2 weeks ago as I told him  to do it well before they expired but he never did apparently.  I will make sure he does later today, apologize for that as this is exactly what I didn't want to happen, pisses me off, don't worry I will get that taken care of.

also just to let you know the free version of the BPT MA Deluxe is NOT what you see in the long term tools section as it does not have all the bells and whistles, the version we use is a proprietary one.

    How about 4 months expiration

How about 4 months expiration rather than 3? Less worry.

    thanks. the nonproprietary one works

thanks. the nonproprietary one works nicely on the oil futures in a variety of timeframes.

    thanks

    Yes it does - actually

Yes it does - actually the lag present on the free one can be quite useful as I've shown before i.e. such as a strong move in the opposite direction but the indicator does not change color - that's useful information when you look at it properly as it can provide low risk entries on pullbacks
