    S&P broke over 1260, would have provided a nice trade for anyone

    Also, anyone holding ultra short ETF's today but was nervous could have got out or reduced exposure today

    do you suggest reducing exposure

    well I'm sure delane would tell you to sell them and go long :), but do what you feel comfortable with, no one knows exactly what's going to happen here. Depends on if you want to give them some room such as the broken trendlines or not.  At the very least have an exit plan or stops in mind.  If you feel uncormforable, then sell them.

    matt and steve are, i just report what Im hearing from my hedgie friends.  again, Im not a technician, thats why i suscribe here. Not going to report whatmy friends  are saying anymore, you guys wouldnt believe their numbers anyways.  I barely do. :)

    perhaps you could buy your hedgie friends a subscription to this site so they know when to buy and when not to buy. Then hopefully their commodity funds wouldn't go belly up and so resources stocks could actually reflect fundamentals based on china rather than including a great big discount due to anticipated fire sales by your hedgie friends.
