On paper they looked like the ultimate team.  A mix of traders and Nobel Prize willing finance gurus but in the end they got caught in market movements.  It is interesting that they had so much capital flowing into their fund they ran out of ideas based on their portfolio parameters and then started reaching for more leverage and more aggressive positions in order to keep returns up.  Ultimately becoming too leveraged to market moves.  Man that sounds so familiar.
