    So if the trade triggers aren't rigid - which I agree with - what is the "Break Point Trade"? (I don't mean this facetiously - I've been wondering all along what the breakpoint thingy is all about)

    padani - we simply draw chart patterns and trendlines.  The trendlines are the breakpoints, but so are important MA's that may be inside the patterns and this includes charts of any time frame.  Breakpoints are simply trendlines that may represent important support/resistance areas that can cause a strong move in a stock/index once broken, especially on volume.  I chose the name breakpointtrades back in 2002 because it sounded good and had some relevance to technical analysis.   Really that's all you should take from it.  I've seen trading websites that are the last name of the person, so the name of trading website may not mean much, however I did try to relate the name somewhat to technical analysis.
