This is only a step in a long process. The next hurdle is
Spain's possible bond downgrade and problems with Italy and its
banks. The EU is fraying on the southern edges. Unless
there is major surprises now, the market has priced it all in,
IMHO. But it is hard to "see" clearly as we sip beer in the
Bavarina Alps! :)
yeah and one day it will be coming to the US, as well as the
rioting and protests. Money doesn't grow on trees,
it's inevitable and our debts/entitlements will have to be dealt
with eventually. Promises will have to be broken for some
things and people will be up in arms, but again money doesn't grow
on trees, there's just not enough of it to to pay for everything,
even if you raise taxes to 100% on the rich, there is not enough
money for all the future obligations.
tax in on Large ships? The workers who build the
ships in the USA .. lost their jobs. Same can happen
for small jets. I forget the Brazilian
Company... that builds small planes... but I bet George Soros
has stock in them after todays speech. Food for thought

We can't take in all the FUTURE obligations as today's value; the numbers are big, but future value not PV to present day is misleading.
