Lamb - in regards to your question below

(I THOUGHT MATT SAID HIS SYSTEM ONLY HAS ABOUT 12 TO 16 TRADES ?YEAR WHAT IS GOING ON LATELY? DID SOMETHING CHANGE?)

The answer is that there is nothing out of the ordinary here with the recent trades. Just look at the trades and statistics, this should be obvious.

Guys all that I ask is that you take the time to look at the trades, the statistics and use your mind vs emotion etc so that you know what kind of trades the system does, I provide everything for you to do this.  For example some of members have taken the time to do spreadsheets comparing trades etc, and as a result these members understand how the system trades.  Therefore while you don't need to take the time to actually create whole spreadsheets, I suggest that you at least take the time to look at the trades and the stats so that you have a better understanding of the system. Also I know that it's hard, but try to be like a robot and keep emotion at bay because emotion and successful trading do not mix well.

For example, regarding the question above; the system has done 5 trades this year if you include new trades, and 6 if you include the trade that was exited in Feb (which was established in Dec so really it's only a 1/2 trade because it wasn't entered this year).  It's almost June now, so 5 - 6 trades this year is normal, and in fact it may be a bit below normal because the average is about 17 trades per year.  Also the last 2 trades (which includes this one) have been shorter trades lasting about 2 weeks for the last one and about a week for this latest one, those are within averages as well.  In fact most of the trades are shorter term trades like this these vs the mega trades that are held for 2 - 3 months (those trades are not the norm, what is the norm are these shorter time frame trades that generate 1 - 3% for SPY.  The system will go through times when it does 2 trades a month, other times it does one trade a month, and sometimes it will go a whole month without a trade.  Some trades are held for as little as 3 days, while some are held as long as 2 - 3 months.  So when reviewing the trade history is there anything out of the norm by these 2 trades in May?  not even close.

    yes of course, I don't
