Thankfully I did have a market stop on NAIL and it got hit
yesterday. This is an example of a good result from having a market
stop rather than a mental closing stop. It's down 14% today and may
get worse before the close.

It's a two edged sword - sometimes good to have stop in place,
sometimes not. I do a mix, but mostly for STS tables, I place a
market stop. SMCI is an exception for me.

Man, my short term chart is 10 minutes. I don't have the time or
the desire to try to react in the second range. But I rarely if
ever buy and sell the same day. I am still a working man.

But in this case, if you are using the SPX as your instrument on
the NYSI system, it would be a matter of closing a short and then
opening the same one again, right? I guess you could call it a
continuation play, or the relay race analogy that you have used,
but even though they are different signals, it's basically the same
play.

Well, if you are following the systems, you either:
a) Close your shorts now as the exhaustion short was closed
today
b) Keep your shorts open in accordance with the NYSI crossover
signal.
Following the systems are not always so simple. The STS tables
are my preferred method. I sold my SQQQ for a small loss today, but
may take LABD, one of the few short ETFs left in the STS
tables.

I took two flyers at the end of the day - a high flyer in ABIO
and a low flyer in HOLO. Opposite ends of the spectrum and both
speculative, but both pretty small positions. I figure I don't need
a very big position in HOLO if it heads to 100 again.

I'm sticking with two silver stocks that start with Silver - SVM
and SILV. SILV is the best fundamentally, but that doesn't always
make for the best short term performance, unfortunately.

DXYZ finally has a 9
The market is just insane. Even DXYZ may go green.

DXYZ finally has a 9 EMA, and almost made it down there. I bought back in around 51, over half off its highs from only 3 days ago.

SMCI hit STS.
