TALK about FOMO - indexes still moving up. So much for tech stocks being lackluster 540pts on NQ and still climbing

Actually TD has a fair amount of stocks that trade 24 hours, most the index related stocks such as XLE, XLF, SPY, Q' s,  UNG, GLD etc. In your watchlist it'll have a little 24  in a yellow circle. They add new ones fairly regualerly. Realize though that trading can be thin in the wee hours and the spreads can be higher than you'd see in the normal hours.

Gold going vertical too

Futures gone wild - Right after Europe opened at 3, the futures went ballistic. In 30 minutes the Es went up 60 points and NQ up over 200, Oil dropped over a dollar and gold about $10. Only news I can fine is that Russia said they were going to have a series of military drills and live fire exercises in Russia and Belarus starting on Feb 19. They released that news right after Euro opened. Traders must have took that to be good news, meaning they weren't planning invasion near term or what. Going to be a heck of a gap up if it holds., which so far, it hasn't backed off much at all so far.

4am update - Nearly an hour after the fact CNBC confirmed rally was due to report that Russia was returning some troops to bases. Gold down over 20 now and oil over $2.

Long term demand for those credits looking pretty good due to the fact that some of the Europen countries having to burn all kind of coal, etc right now because of Nuclear shutdowns and tight Natgas supplies

Y, nice call on that top. Looks like trying to give it all back right now. Steve, in the newsletter, you talked about a 1-2, 1-2 pattern. Not sure I understand. If you get a chance could you maybe put on a chart what you're thinking. Thanks

Gold futures getting hammered. Have recovered some, were down over $90

Right off that lower TL extended too. 

Ouch - Hasn't really hurt our futures that much so far, wonder if it will once market opens

No one wanted gold or Naz yesterday, since about 2am, both have been melting up

Have a little inverse H&S on my 5 min ES chart if it can break over 3879.50ish that measures about 25 pts. Big if though so far. Lot of R up here. Keeps getting rejected
