I agree, I'd like you to keep the reversion to mean systems.
It's honestly the biggest reason I joined, and I would be very sad
to see them go away.
I think it's important like you said to remember that these are
based off statistics and we are outside the statistical norms this
year. That said, no trading strategy is 100%, so one must determine
the max drawdowns they are willing to take and trade with a
position size according to that, which I know is challenging when
we are waiting for the system to send a sell signal and we don't
have an actual stop that we can use to help determine the position
size.
All that to say, I do hope you keep sending out the signals
Matt. Having a mechanical system like this to add to my strategies
has been very beneficial over time.

Here's some setups to monitor. Note the volume and support. Most
had quite a bit lighter volume on the pullback and check out that
heavy volume prior. I'd only be looking at these for a short term
swing trade, maybe a few days or a week. I don't know enough about
these companies long term to be looking to stay in them beyond
that.

Hey Matt, also wanted to speak up and say I really appreciate
all you do to push the envelop.. I've been really looking forward
to utilizing the trending DVT you've been working on
and really appreciate being able to use your systems. I know
this stuff take an incredible amount of time and work. Thank you
for all you do!

Aren't money market funds holders of debt and US treasury notes,
so would that actually be a low risk place to be with the concerns
about the debt crisis? Also, this company plan doesn't have the
option to be in a money market, so what's the next best
thing?
Posted by focus175 on 24th of Mar 2020 at 01:05 am
Follow up to my last question. Any thoughts on 401ks, when the
company plan requires you to be in a fund of some kind, what is the
lowest risk place to put it is. Aka I know that use to be bonds,
however it doesn't seem like that is the case anymore with the
concerns with the debt crisis?
Also, with that back drop are "Stable Funds" that heavily invest
in US Treasury Notes, more risky now/"less safe" than they use to
be, due to the debt crisis and issues in the bond market? Trying to
get a better understanding of how this all correlates.
Posted by focus175 on 23rd of Mar 2020 at 07:57 pm
With all that the Fed has been doing, I'm trying to get a better
understanding of the debt crisis and corporate debt as I know Steve
and Matt you've been talking about that being a concern for some
time. I'm also trying to get a better understanding of what
these recent Fed actions mean regarding that narrative.
With all the action the Fed has been taking, and now talking
about buying corporate bonds and corporate bond ETFs, does this
impact that concern and if so, how so? Positively/Negatively?

UGAZ be careful with as it's a 3x leverage etf and as Steve says, it's a widow maker if you're not extra careful.
UNG is a non-leveraged way to play natural gas. However note that it's taxed as a limited partnership.
