So when does all this BS end? A Fed induced rally, a moneyOPOLY
of borrowed money to increase your paper profits. If you feel
wealthy on paper you spend and economy keeps growing. That seems
correct in a normal environment but in my opinion we are not
normal. I can't even imagine what will happen on the streets
if/when this implodes. Whether in my lifetime or not it's a
frightening thought and more so for my kids and grandkids. The hole
at the bottom of the pool is bigger than the hose that's filling
it.

I agree with you whole heartedly ssaffer. Nothing wrong
with sharing ideas on charts and stocks to perhaps watch. I
certainly appreciate it from all as we certainly can't keep our
eyes on everything. At the end of the day we all make our own
decisions and are responsible for our own losses or gains. If
someone gives advice and the stock goes up your a hero if it goes
down your a zero. If this game came with a guarantee we'd all be
rich.

So people will take their 10 grand now because they genuinely
need the help. Others may just like the idea of free money and will
blow it on good times. When they retire and their monthly pension
is less what will they do then?

A few weeks ago my son texted me an image of the pages you just
posted accept we were told it came from prediction made by psychic
Sylvia Browne in her 2008 book called
End of Days: Predictions and Prophecies about the End of the
World, when she wrote about a sickness like the current
coronavirus. Who has either of these books so we can see who really
wrote it.

Do you not find it can be quite a move up or down
when following the 60 min? If I'm day trading I'll usually follow
the 3, 5 and 15 minutes. That gives me an idea ( not necessarily
correct) on the trend. Hoping your actions/ideas can be helpful to
me. Thank you

this mornings pull back at $0.72,,,so now if I sell it will shoot
up and if I hold it will drop. I'll let you guy's know what I'm
doing so you can do the opposite,,,lol.

I hear you ssaffer. Mid to late 90's in my early 30's I
started day trading, no charts at the time just following ticker
tape and trying to play swing trades. By early 2001 or so I was
forced to claim bankruptcy. Mostly due to my inexperience and
thinking the market was easy. It was a tough pill to swallow and
admit that I got beat. Now I'm a little more seasoned and in some
instances very fearful of pulling the trigger on some trades. The
only funny side of claiming bankcruptcy was the banckruptcy
lawyer asking what I owed. When I told him he laughed and said
"that's nothing, I have people owing a few million" My response
"should I wait?" Unfortunately I wasn't able to get more credit to
get close to his number lol. All the best to everyone on this
site and hoping this virus is a past sooner rather than later.

Steve/Matt many thanks to both of you for the info and charts
you both post daily, wish I had this info 25 years ago. Under
normal circumstances would you set a stop-limit order or
stop-market order? Reason I'm asking is that in a few past
experiences when I've set a stop-limit order my stock has not
gotten sold as price blew past my order and I wound up re-setting
my order and selling at a much lower price. I guess both types of
orders can have negative impacts. Just my 2 cents and hoping for
input by others. Stay healthy everyone.

So the gov't allows us to put money in a TFSA for what? To earn
a lousy 2% in a GIC or something. Yet if you now make some
money they want it. So what happens if you have losses are they
going to rebate it??
Posted by rollerblader on 6th of Jan 2020 at 04:29 pm
When I got home it was trading in the 6.20's so I set a limit
stop at 6.01 trigger at $6.03 hoping to walk away with something if
it went that low. It actually went lower and never got sold. I
should've checked the bid/ask before market open and the out come
may had been better,,,hind sight is 20 20.

Looking at a 1 yr daily chart shows how tight the BB's were.
That would have been a great entry between Sept.-Dec.. I'm a little
skeptical now as it looks a little parabolic.
