I prefer the present system u use. I work off the earlier advice you send out, prepare the option trades and wait for the 16h00 final advice to fill during the extra 15 minutes.. MES trades are easy because of longer trading hours. Advising close to opening hours wont work for all the Antipodeans as it is somewhere close to midnight!!

Is it possible to include these statistics in the SPY SYSTEMS  tab on the web-site. It would be great to see the various profit factors and also draw-downs.

Every time I have tried trading on vacation I have lost money. Now only place longer term option trades but cut down on futures except on SPY/ES signals. Trading during a holiday causes family hassles!

Good luck to you with this one. I am probably old-fashion but I only started making good money on the market when I had clear money management ideas on paper as part of my trading plan.

Great posting Matt. I have not previously tried the later expiry option as yet(Dec short). my approach has always been to treat them totally different and to take a short on either NQ or YM and leave the ES to run but am quite excited to have a look at the later month short.

Thank you for this posting Matt. As you know I live in New Zealand and love the EOD signal. I am pleased to hear you will be posting the signals for SPY/ES as before. Often you indicate to us that a signal is pending and I base my trades thereon and don't wait for confirmation.  I was and still am  interested to see the development of the ETF's as well but will have to miss on them if opening signals are used. It is the middle of the night here then.

I sell MESM22 (ES macro futures) when a short signal is given. I also buy both SPY and especially now QQQ puts. The only time I ever sell premium is when the market makes a very clear and definite low. This is for the purpose of scoring the time and volatility which is often quite large.

Frankly though, I make the most money on the options.  Until end of January 2018 I used to get the best results with ES mini contracts but I now only use the ES macros.

I also use Slow and Fast Stochastics on my charts  but do not have the two lines you have on yours. Are they propriety BPT MA de Luxe settings or could you share them with us.

Yes I fully agree with you Matt. Firstly I use options on both SPY and ES on both longs and shorts. On the futures it is a little more difficult but what I have done is opened a MES on all the longs and an MNQ on the shorts. That is why I enjoy having all the systems as you are now indicating them.   

Just another comment. This system is enough for making a great living. I do not place any other trade ideas except when Matt gives longer term weekly/monthly chart patterns such as the Uranium stocks back in early 2021 and again the commodities in the beginning of this year. My best results are with the options which are easier to stomach when the big draw downs occur.

I trade the ES and SPY systems, both futures (trade ES) though Tradestation and options through Think or Swim or even Tasty trade. I did mention a spreadsheet I used to determine what value options I use. I have a similar one for futures. 

Warning on trading futures: The draw downs are harsh especially when you have multiple positions.

I am certain there are a number of traders on this blog who could share their experiences with you. I am always happy to share more if you need. Good trading.
